Hyderabad man treks 7200 km to Ayodhya carrying gold-plated footwear for Lord Ram
Hyderabad: A 64-year-old from Hyderabad has embarked on a 7200-kilometre padayatra to Ayodhya Ram temple carrying an offering of gold-plated footwear for Lord Ram. The devotee has started his walk to the temple city ahead of the grand Ram Mandir consecration ceremony to be held on January 22.
Challa Srinivas Sastry is excited to embark on the long trek with the offering and he is expected to reach Ayodhya by January 15.
