AP village, ward secretariats to figure in global seminar
VIJAYAWADA: Village / ward secretariats department joint director Vikas Marmat has got an invitation to participate in an international seminar on February 11 and February 12 at Boston in America. The seminar has been organised by the prestigious Harvard University.
Naman Sharma, panel manager of India Conference – Harvard 2023 has communicated that the international seminar will be conducted at the Harvard Business School and Harvard Kennedy School. It will host more than 5,000 attendees from around the world. Its proceedings will feature in leading Indian and international publications.
Vikas Marmat will deliver his speech on “India's Villages@2047”. He will explain the success of the village and ward secretariat system taking administration to the doorsteps of people, coinciding with the development of these areas.
The theme for this year’s international conference is ‘Vision 2047: India at 100 years of Independence. It will offer a platform for policymakers, business leaders, cultural icons, and academic experts to discuss how India can fulfil its global potential.
This year’s speakers include Devendra Fadnavis, Rajeev Chandrasekhar, Amitabh Kant and Keshav Murugesh, among others.
