Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao participated in the 10th day ceremony of prominent Telangana statehood activist and chairman, State Warehousing Corporation, Sai Chand who passed away on June 30.
The CM paid floral tributes to Sai Chand and consoled his wife Rajini, his father Venkat Ramulu and other family members of the singer. The CM assured the family that the government would stand by them in their hour of need.
The programme was attended by ministers Mohd Mahmood Ali, Ch Malla Reddy, Sabita Indra Reddy, G. Jagadish Reddy, S. Niranjan Reddy, V. Srinivas Goud, Gangula Kamalakar, Prashanth Reddy, MPs Joginapally Santhosh Kumar, Ramu Venkatesh, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, MLAs Balka Suman, Sudheer Reddy and Danam Nagender. The meet was also attended by the fans of the singer.
