Hyderabad: Chief Executive Officer Wakf Board Mohammed Khasim has tested positive for Covid-19.
He has gone into home isolation and is undergoing treatment there.
According to sources, in view of the Assembly Session, Covid test has been made compulsory for those attending the Assembly Session.
The presence of the CEO is essential to brief the government about matters related to wakf during the session to provide instant information.
For that purpose, when Mr Khasim underwent the test he was found to be Covid positive and asymptomatic.
He will be home quarantined for two weeks and work from home.
