NRI TD leaders observe black day in Milpitas, US
NRI TD leaders also held a protest rally and raised slogans against the YSRC government
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam (TD) leaders living in the United States observed a black day on Saturday to protest the arrest of their party chief N. Chandrababu Naidu in Andhra Pradesh.
The NRI TD leaders led by TD co-ordinator and Telugu Association of North America (TANA) former president K. Jayaram gathered in Milpitas, California, and wore black badges to express their solidarity with Naidu. They also held a protest rally and raised slogans against the YSRC government.
An emergency meeting was also held by the NRI TD leaders to take stock of the developments in Andhra Pradesh.
TD senior leader A. Venkata Gopala Krishna called it unfortunate to arrest Naidu without giving him the proper reason by the CID sleuths.
