AYUSH to Offer Panchakarma for Chronic Ailments
Vijayawada: A sensitisation and orientation training program was held on Sunday in Vijayawada for faculty and senior doctors of Ayush Educational Institutes, Vijayawada Siddhartha Medical College, and Guntur Medical College.
The program aimed to raise awareness among medical practitioners regarding the benefits of Ayush treatments for chronic ailments.
Dr S.P. Rajendra Kumar, a prominent figure in the field of Ayush, emphasized the state's robust healthcare infrastructure, including government-run Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Allopathy institutions. He highlighted the importance of offering patients the best possible treatment based on their specific condition and encouraged doctors to continuously update their knowledge on diseases and treatment modalities.
Dr Rajendra Kumar also announced exciting developments within the Ayush department. Dispensary buildings are being upgraded in Gudivada, Kadapa, Rajahmundry, and Vijayawada to accommodate a wider range of treatment services. Additionally, innovative Panchakarma facilities are being established in Ayush hospitals, offering treatments for chronic conditions such as migraine, sinusitis, paralysis, and others.
