Revanth Calls on KCR at hospital, Enquires About his Health
Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy called on his predecessor K. Chandrashekar Rao, who is recovering from a hip replacement surgery at a private hospital, here on Sunday. The gesture was widely appreciated across sections.
Reddy was accompanied by minister Seethakka and senior Congress leader Mohd Ali Shabbir. Separately, ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Komatireddy Venkat Reddy called on Chandrashekar Rao Rao and inquired about his health.
At the hospital, Revanth Reddy met former IT minister K.T. Rama Rao, and inquired about his father's health. The CM spoke to Chandrashekar Rao and enquired about his health and spent about 10 minutes in the hospital.
While leaving the hospital, he spoke to media personnel who were present there. He said that he had directed the Chief Secretary to ensure that the former chief minister gets the best possible treatment.
"I wish that he recovers at the earliest and comes to the Assembly to speak on people’s issues. There is a need for his suggestions to provide good governance to people," he said.
