HYDERABAD: Dr. Muhammad Khalid Mubashiruz Zafar on Wednesday took charge as the Ameer Halqa (zonal president) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind’s Telangana Zone.
He too charge at the zonal office of the organization at Lakkadkot in the presence of Hamid Mohammad Khan, Abdul Basith Anwar, Mohammed Azharuddin. Dr Zafar was appointed to the position by Ameer Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, Syed Saadatullah Hussaini, for the period of 2023 to 2027. Dr Zafar belongs to Hyderabad and he had been the president of Student Islamic Organization, Telangana and united Andhra Pradesh and the Nazeem Shahr (city president) of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind.
