Hyderabad: Traffic advisory for 'Telangana Run' at Neclace road on June 12
Hyderabad: Traffic diversions have imposed for the state police’s ‘Telangana Run’ at NTR Marg and PVNR Marg (Necklace Road) from 4 am on June 12, to mark the state formation decennial celebrations.
During the event, traffic will not be allowed in between VV statue and Telugu Talli junction via Necklace Rotary and NTR Marg. G. Sudheer Babu, additional commissioner of police (traffic) stated in a press release that traffic will be restricted or diverted on need basis.
The traffic police said the junctions to be avoided are at VV statue (Khairatabad); Old Saifabad PS; Ravindra Bharathi; Mint Compound road; Telugu Talli; Necklace Rotary; Nallagutta; Katta Maisamma (Lower Tank Bund) Tank Bund and Liberty.
Traffic from Khairatabad, Panjagutta, Somajiguda towards Necklace Rotary will be diverted at VV Statue towards Shadan, Nirankari.
Traffic from Nirankari and Chintalbasti towards Necklace Rotary will not be allowed to use Khairatabad flyover.
Traffic from Iqbal Minar junction towards Tank Bund will be diverted via Telugu Talli flyover, Katta Maisamma junction and Lower Tank Bund.
Traffic from Tank Bund towards NTR Marg will be diverted at Telugu Talli statue towards Iqbal Minar junction.
Traffic from BRKR Bhavan towards NTR Marg will be diverted at Telugu Talli junction towards Iqbal Minar junction.
Traffic from Bada Ganesh lane towards Imax/Necklace Rotary will be diverted towards Rajdoot lane.
Traffic from Buddha Bhavan and Nallagutta junction towards Necklace Rotary will be diverted towards Ranigunj.
Buses from Afzalgunj towards Secunderabad to avoid Tank Bund Road, take Telugu Talli flyover, Katta Maisamma, Lower Tank Bund, DBR Mills and Kavadiguda.
Parking has been arranged at: Behind I-Max (for VIPs); Beside I-Max for employees; beside I-Max, Necklace Road single lane parking from Lake PS to Jalavihar (Buses and other vehicles), NTR Ghat (contingency parking) and NTR Garden
