Minister T Harish Rao inaugurates new police station building in Kollur

HYDERABAD: Finance minister T. Harish Rao, on Saturday inaugurated the building of new Kollur police station in Miyapur division of Cyberabad police commissionerate.

Harish Rao said Telangana was the only state which was providing policing services at this level. He said that under the leadership of Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, the police had taken many revolutionary measures to maintain peace and ensure security in the state.

Harish Rao said that after 2014, state-of-the-art facilities were provided for the police. Funds were sanctioned for modern police buildings, vehicles and new technology. Because of this, the number of crimes was falling and law and order had been established.

He said that states with good law and order would see a lot of investment and hence better employment. He said that friendly policing in Telangana was unique.

Speaking at the event, Cyberabad police commissioner Stephen Raveendra said, “We are bringing in modernity to crime control, making the police the best in the world.”
