Hyderabad: The Hyderabad City Security Council (HCSC) said it would be holding an event titled ‘Stree summit’ on July 12 at the Integrated Command & Control Centre (ICCC), Banjara Hills. Hyderabad police commissioner C.V. Anand said the event would focus on empowering women and addresses the unique safety challenges they face.
Anand, who heads the HCSC, said the event “through insightful discussions, interactive sessions and collaborative workshops, will explore innovative strategies, share best practices, and promote inclusive approaches that empower women to lead secure lives.”
Chaitanya Gorrepati, Secretary General of HCSC, said the event would bring together including policymakers, law enforcement agencies, community leaders, and women empowerment organisations.
