Monsoon Withdrawal Sees Rise in Temperatures in Telangana

Hyderabad: Temperatures have increased recently in the state with the overall maximum temperatures ranging between 33 and 38 degrees. The southwest monsoon has been weak over the state as it is in the final days of withdrawal, resulting in hot and dry weather.

The maximum temperature was at Nerella in Jagtial with 38.9 degree on Wednesday as per the Telangana State Development and Planning Society.

Temperatures also soared in the city with the highest maximum temperature of 37.8 degrees in Nagole. The minimum temperature in the state was at 19.8 degrees in Patancheru.

IMD said that the highest temperature deviation was in Khammam district, where it increased by 4.4 degrees.

Although light rains are likely in the coming week at isolated places across the state, many parts will experience dry and hot weather in the next two days.
