Hyderabad: To ensure all the personnel are equipped with the implementation of the Model Code of Conduct and on electoral offences, Cyberabad police held a training-cum-meeting with all the DCPs, ACPs, and inspectors at Gachibowli on Wednesday, while other personnel joined the sessions virtually.
Cyberabad commissioner of police Stephen Raveendra emphasised the necessity of strict implementation of guidelines of Model Code of Conduct issued by the ECI and the Electoral Offences.
Legal Adviser Evuri Ramulu reiterated the legal provisions to be followed against the MCC violators and also discussed the Representative of People’s Act, Indian Penal Code and other laws. Meanwhile, DCP Crimes Kalmeshwar Shingenevar re-iterated the procedure to be followed while registering the cases against the offenders in coordination with Static Surveillance teams (SST), Flying Squad teams(FST) and Returning Officers.
