Fire Breaks Out in Aparna CyberLife Flat in Nallagandla; No Casualties Reported

A fire broke out in a flat on the fourth floor of the 11-storey Aparna CyberLife, Nallagandla, on Friday night. No casualties were reported but two rooms of the flat were destroyed.

Sources said the flat was empty when the fire broke out.

The housing society has a fire fighting system which was used to douse the blaze. Sources said the fire was quickly put out, and the need to call the fire brigade did not arise. No police complaint was not lodged.

The incident occurred at about 10 pm on Friday and renovation work was taken up on Saturday. According to a resident, the cause of the fire could be a short circuit. The building had been lit up for Diwali.
