Only Jagan Can Guarantee Good Future: Deputy CM
Anantapur: AP Deputy CM Amzad Basha declared that only Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy can guarantee a good future for youth, students and women in Andhra Pradesh.
Addressing a gathering as part of the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra in Chennur of Kadapa district on Sunday, he underlined that the Chief Minister has already initiated measures to uplift all sections of people in the state.
Amzad Basha said there was no regard for weaker sections and minorities under the Chandrababu Naidu regime. Naidu government did not have any minister from the minority community. A minority MLA was given a ministerial post just three months before the general elections.
The Deputy CM pointed out that 70 per cent of ministers in the Jagan Mohan Reddy government are from the BC. SC, ST and minority communities.
Speaking on the occasion, minister K. Venkateswara Rao observed that poverty has declined in Andhra Pradesh after Jagan Mohan Reddy introduced welfare schemes for various sections of people. Monetary help is being given to weaker sections right at their doorstep.
MP Y.S. Avinash Reddy, MLA Ravindra Reddy and YSRC leader Butta Renuka were among those present.
