Hyderabad: CLP leader Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka said it was laughable that the BRS leaders claimed that they would win all the 10 Assembly seats in the Khammam district.
Addressing a group of activists who joined the Congress, he said there was a political realignment from Adilabad to Khammam, “People are fed up with the BRS and are looking towards the Congress. We will implement all our promises once we come to power,” he said
He said previous Congress governments used to give essential commodities to the people but the BRS government as providing only rice. “We gave pension to all old people in the household but the BRS has restricted it to one per household,” he said. “Instead of giving double bedroom houses to people the government has removed the Housing Board.” He said SC/ST sub plan funds were being diverted by the government.
