Visakhapatnam: The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIMV) and the Small Industries Development Bank of India (SIDBI) collaborated for a significant step forward in fostering entrepreneurship in India. The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU), forged under SIDBI's "Mission Swabhalamban" initiative, aims to implement the Skill to Enterprise Model (STEM) programme. This initiative is tailored to empower skilled youth in their journey towards becoming job creators for Atmanirbhar Bharat.
The primary goal is to equip aspiring entrepreneurs with the skills and knowledge necessary to establish innovative businesses. The programme comprises two pivotal phases: an Academic Training Phase and an Incubation & Mentoring Phase.
This joint initiative, spearheaded by Sushil Kumar from the entrepreneurship area at IIM Visakhapatnam, is poised to catalyse a wave of innovative and driven entrepreneurs, amplifying India's entrepreneurial landscape.
