Revanth to reward Oscar winning TS singer Rahul Sipliganj with Rs. 10 lakh
HYDERABAD: Castigating the state government for not honouring Oscar-winning singer from Telangana Rahul Sipliganj, TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy said that Congress would reward him with ₹1 crore for his extraordinary feat once they come to power in Telangana. The Congress announced ₹10 lakhs for Sipliganj.
He was speaking at the Rajiv Gandhi online quiz competition in continuation of the Hyderabad Youth Declaration at Gandhi Ideology Centre in Bowenpally here on Friday. Reddy launched the brochure pertaining to the competition in the presence of Sipliganj,
Revanth Reddy said that it was sad that the government did not recognise the Oscar winner who had brought international glory to Telangana. "Priyanka Gandhi will attend the prize distribution function of the online quiz competition. Sipliganj will be given ₹10 lakhs by the party on that occasion", he said.
