Death of Kusuma Jagadish is a big loss to BRS party: KTR

WARANGAL: IT minister and BRS working president K.T. Rama Rao participated in the final rites of ZP chairman and BRS district unit president Kusuma Jagadish, who died of cardiac arrest, here at his native place in Mallampalli of Mulugu district on Monday.

Rama Rao reached Mulugu district in a helicopter from Hyderabad along with transport minister Puvvada Ajay Kumar, MP Ranjith Kumar and Rajya Sabha member J. Santosh Kumar.

After reaching Mallampalli by road, he paid tributes to the body of Jagadish by garlanding and covering him with the BRS flag and later consoled his family members.

Speaking on the occasion, Rama Rao said the sudden demise of ZP chairman Kusuma Jagadish shocked every leader in the BRS. Like a soldier, he had been working hard from the past two decades and strove hard in strengthening the BRS in the Mulugu district.

He is like a younger brother to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. During the time of the separate Telangana movement, Jagadish took part in all the activities undertaken by K. Chandasekhar Rao and played a key role in the movement.

The BRS lost a true worker and committed leader. The death of Jagadish is a big loss not only to the Mulugu district but also to the BRS.

Chief Minister K. Chandrasekar Rao along with all the leaders of BRS will always support and help the bereaved family members, Rama Rao added.

Ministers Errabelli Dayakar Rao, Satyavathi Rathod, G. Jagadish Reddy, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Kadiyam Srihari and P. Srinivas Reddy, MLAs and MPs were present along with other BRS leaders.
