New Silver Chariot Ready for Mantralayam Rajatha Seva
Kurnool: A newly constructed silver chariot, weighing 280 kg, was brought to Mantralayam in the district on Tuesday. The Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Bengaluru organised the construction of the chariot.
Subudhendra Tirthulu and Raghuvarendra Thirthulu inspected the silver chariot and announced that it would soon be inaugurated and put into service for 'Rajatha Seva'.
'Rajatha Rathotsava' is one of the 38 daily services offered at the Sri Raghavendra Swamy Mutt in Mantralayam. The mutt had planned to prepare a new silver chariot for these daily services, which was then prepared in Bengaluru and subsequently transported to Mantralayam, according to mutt authorities.
