Andhra Pradesh: End to big fete with big fervour
7.9 lakh pilgrims had darshan as against 5.7 lakh during 2015 festival.
Tirupati: The celestial nine-day Navahnika Salakatla Srivari Brahmotsavams has come to a grand conclusion with Chakrasnana Mahotsavam on Tuesday morning.
Prior to the religious fete, Pallaki Utsavam was held in connection with the culmination of the event, wherein the utsavarulu were brought from Tirumala temple to Swami Pushkarini located opposite to Sri Bhu Varahaswamy temple.
Later the processional deities of Sri Malayappa Swamy, Sridevi and Bhudevi were seated on the special peetham, along with Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar.
Later the temple priests performed snapana tirumanjanam to Utsavarulu.
Meanwhile Svims has provided free medical service for 5,112 pilgrims during the fete.
