YSRC students take out procession in Nandyal
Kurnool: YSRC students’ wing took out a procession from Padmavati Nagar Jyotiba Phule statue to late chief minister Dr. Y.S. Rajasekhara Reddy’s statue at Srinivasa Centre in Nandyal on Tuesday.
About 10,000 students led by YSRC Nandyal students’ wing president Suresh Yadav participated in the procession.
The students were later addressed by YSR Congress Party students’ wing state president Panuganti Chaitanya and Rayalaseema Vidyarthi and Yuvajana Sangha JAC chairman B. Sreeramulu.
Leaders of the students’ union highlighted the major changes and improvements made in education sector by the YSRC government. They praised initiatives, such as Jagananna Goru Mudda, which aims to enhance the health of students.
The leaders acknowledged the efforts in revamping government schools, colleges and hostels. They appreciated the high-quality education provided to students through programmes like Jagananna Vidya Deevena and expressed their support to the government's ongoing efforts.
Others who attended the rally included JAC president Bandela Obulesu and conveners Shaik Riyaz, Jayaraju, Ravindra Naik, Nagaraju, Ramesh, and Guttapadu Raju.
