Naidu Says Countdown Has Begun For YSRC Rule in AP
Vijayawada: Telugu Desam chief N. Chandrababu Naidu and Jana Sena founder K. Pawan Kalyan actively participated in the Sankranti celebrations in the name of 'Telugu Jathiki Swarna Yugam-Sankranti Sankalpam' at Mandadam in Amaravati on Sunday.
They burnt copies of several government orders by arranging a Bhogi Mantalu (bonfire). "The future is again going to be ours. Amaravati is soon going to be the nerve-centre for state’s administration," Naidu claimed.
Calling upon the people to sink their differences and rise beyond the regional and caste considerations, Naidu said only 87 days were left to extricate the state from the YSRC rule. The countdown has begun, he said.
He alleged that policemen too committed certain atrocities. So, there should be some changes in the police system too.
Naidu said, “The festival is Bhogi Mantalu but the ruler is a lunatic who laid the foundation for AP’s destruction by dismantling the Praja Vedika. Amaravati, the capital of deities, is being persecuted by demons as a result.”
Making it clear that a rule based on public welfare would return here after the assembly polls, he said Amaravati would remain the capital of AP.
Naidu said the primary goal of the TD-Jana Sena combine was to create assets for the state. He expressed his happiness for holding the Bhogi Mandalu in Amaravati.
Stating that people generally burn useless articles in the bonfire as part of the festival celebrations, he said the state marched backward due to the “inefficient” rule of (Jagan Reddy) and destructive policies of his government.
“Amaravati has been totally damaged in the past five years and the farmers who donated their lands for the capital are the worst sufferers,” he stated.
Naidu said Amaravati would again become a centre to generate assets for transforming the whole state into a fertile land. The TD-Jana Sena combine takes the responsibility to provide employment to the jobless after it formed the next government, he said.
“We will create assets for the state and distribute it to the people,” he said.
Assuring the people that Amaravati “will be developed as the best capital” in the country, Pawan Kalyan said the coming TD-Jana Sena government would transform AP into a well-developed state. “The Sankranti celebrations will be officially organised in Amaravati next year, he said.
