VIJAYAWADA: Deputy Chief Minister S.B. Amzath Basha on Thursday announced that Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate in the state-level Iftar programme at Vidyadharapuram stadium in Vijayawada on April 17.
The Deputy CM made the announcement after holding a review meeting with NTR district collector Dr. S. Dilli Rao, Vijayawada police commissioner Kanti Rana Tata and MLA V. Srinivasa Rao at the collector's camp office here on Thursday.
Amzath Basha said arrangements are also being made for mass Magrib Namaz at the stadium. Jagan Mohan Reddy will participate in the Namaz before attending the Iftar dinner, the Deputy CM stated.
Chief Minister's programme coordinator and MLC Talasila Raghuram, MLC Md. Ruhulla, Vijayawada mayor Rayana Bhagya Lakshmi, Vijayawada sub-collector Aditi Singh and protocol director Bala Subramanyam Reddy were among those who participated in the review meeting.
