Chennai: Wailing medico's parents demand fair probe
Tirupur: “It cannot be a case of suicide. We suspect it to be a case of murder. My son is not the kind who will commit suicide. He was ambitious and wanted to achieve in his medical field,” sobs Ganesan, father of junior resident doctor G.Saravanan, a ‘banian’ master in the textile hub of Tirupur.
The 26-year-old doctor, Saravanan, a native of Tirupur, and resident of Gopal Nagar, joined MD course in AIIMS in New Delhi 10 days ago and was found dead in his house in South Delhi under mysterious circumstances on Sunday night. “The state and the Central governments should probe into the death of my son and find out the cause of his death,” the father told DC. Saravanan’s body arrived in Tirupur and the funeral was held on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Opposition leader M. K. Stalin on Wednesday demanded a detailed inquiry.
