Hyderabad Traffic Advisory for Bonalu at Mahankali Lal Darwaza Temple

HYDERABAD: In view of the Bonalu at the Simhavahini Sri Mahankali Lal Darwaza temple on Sunday and Monday, the Hyderabad traffic police issued an advisory to motorists in the Falaknuma, Charminar, Mirchowk and Bahadurpura areas.

RTC buses will not be allowed towards Charminar, Falaknuma and Nayapul and will be terminated at old CBS, Afzalgunj, Darulshifa crossroads, Chatrinaka and Engine Bowli and will be diverted to alternative routes.

Traffic in all roads leading to the temple and the roads through which the procession goes will be diverted or blocked. Further, the main road between Madina crossroads to Engine Bowli, via Gulzar Houz, Charminar, Charminar bus terminal, Himmatpura, Nagulchinta, and Aliabad will be closed for vehicular traffic till the conclusion of the Bonalu procession.

Besides, traffic restrictions will be in place from Sunday 6 am till Tuesday 6 am in connection with the Bonalu celebrations at the Mahankali temple at Amberpet. Traffic movement in the roads leading to the temple and through which the procession is scheduled to travel would be restricted or diverted.
