Vijayawada: AP Genco managing director Chakradhar Babu reviewed the progress of Polavaram hydropower project at Polavaram in Eluru district on Wednesday. He was accompanied by senior officials of the Genco and the Polavaram project.
Babu inspected the ongoing works at the project site and expressed satisfaction over the pace of work. He directed the officials to strictly adhere to the time schedule to complete the project.
Babu said that the Polavaram project is a crucial project for the state and its timely completion will help to resolve the power shortage in the state.
