MLA Srinivas meets CM, seeks intervention to solve problems of Bhimili

Visakhapatnam: After Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy’s recent London visit, former minister and Bhimili constituency MLA Avanti Srinivasa Rao made a courtesy call on the CM on Wednesday.

The legislator gave many representations to the CM about his constituency. One was aboutthe Simhachalam’s Panchagaramalu people's housing problems.

He stated, “The Panchagramalu of the Simhachalam Temple was established 50 years ago. Due to a court case, the people in these villages are unable to repair their damaged houses.” The MLA requested the CM’s intervention and grant of permission for the repair of the houses in Panchagramalu.

The MLA gave another representation from the Lakshmipuram Majjivalasa residents of Bhimili mandal, who had been allotted Jagananna House pattas in Padmanabham mandal. The land was allotted to these people at a far-away place, he said.

“Farmers in Singanabanda Panchayat are unable to travel that far. The government is urged to buy land and construct Jagananna Houses here itself,” he proposed.

In Anandapuram Kanumam Panchayat, 150 acres of land have been allotted for an Industrial Park (50 acres for Autonagar; 100 acres for MSME Park) but the grounding was not done yet. The MLA requested the CM that this be done immediately.

Nagavams, Yadavs, Nagars and fishermen communities must be provided separate community halls in Bhimili constituency for their social gatherings and auspicious activities, the MLA urged Jagan Reddy.

In a media release, the MLA said the CM has responded positively to his requests.
