10 AP natives return to Delhi from Israel
Vijayawada: Repatriation of stranded Indians from Israel has begun through 'Operation Ajay' by the Indian government. Ten persons hailing from Andhra Pradesh were among those who reached Delhi by the first flight.
The AP non-resident Telugu society (APNRTS) announced this here. Its functionary, Hemalatha Rani, said special charter flights brought them back from the disturbed areas.
External affairs minister S Jai Shankar tweeted that an approximate 18,000 Indian citizens were living in Israel and special flights would reach them to India safely.
