Hyderabad: T. Jagat Reddy, Telangana State Transco director, said on Sunday said that repair work on the 220 KV and 132 KV High Tension lines at Kandlakoya in Medchal district would be completed soon.
Unidentified persons removed the bolts of the HT towers. “Following a complaint from the owners of the land where the HT towers are located, we alerted the field staff and noticed the removal of bolts,” he said and added that the staff had averted a major disaster. Replying to a question, Jagat Reddy said no internal inquiry had been ordered into the Kandlakoya incident. Police had registered a case and are investigating the case.
