OU VC lauds Shadan Group
Hyderabad: Osmania University Vice Chancellor Prof. D. Ravinder appreciated the contributions and endeavour of Shadan Group of Institutions towards ensuring and improving education for women.
Speaking during the Graduation Day of Shadan Degree College of Women held on Tuesday Prof. Ravinder paid homage to Dr Mohammed Vizarath Rasool Khan, the late founder and chairman of the group, and expressed the hope that under the leadership of incumbent chairman Mohammed Shah Alam Rasool Khan, the group would have its own university.
Shadan Education Society secretary Shadan Tahniyat, chairman Rasool Khan and joint secretary Dr Zehra Khan were present on the occasion. The Vice Chancellor lauded the educational group for the large number of students who graduate from its institutions every year.
Prof. Ravinder urged students to continue their education even after graduation, and make the country proud. "The doors of Osmania University are open for anyone desirous of higher education," he added.
