Andhra University Introduces M.A Program in Pali and Buddhist Studies
Visakhapatnam: Andhra University’s College of Arts and Commerce has announced the commencement of the M.A. programme in Pali and Buddhist Studies for the academic year 2023-24. Professor A. Narasimha Rao, the principal of the College, highlighted that this unique programme is the first of its kind in the state.
The collaboration between Andhra University and Sri Jayawardhanapura University of Sri Lanka adds an international dimension to the academic offering, enriching the learning experience for students interested in delving into the realms of Pali and Buddhist Studies.
Prospective applicants need to hold a graduate degree from a recognised University to be eligible for admission. The programme, facilitated through online mode, aims to make quality education accessible to a broader audience. The annual fee for the M.A. programme is set at '19,500.
The application window for admission is open, with the deadline set for December 30.
