KAKINADA: AP Governor S. Abdul Nazeer expressed profound grief over the death of seven women in a road accident near Tallarevu of Kakinada district on Sunday.
The tragedy occurred when a bus going from Yanam to Hyderabad rammed into an auto in which the women working in a nearby shrimp factory were travelling.
Abdul Nazeer described the incident as very unfortunate and directed the district administration to provide necessary medical care to those injured in the incident.
Expressing his condolences, Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan asked transport and police officials to pay attention and improve road safety.
The JS president also expressed his condolences over the death of two persons when a boat capsized in Avuku reservoir in Nandyal district.
