Kerala chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan’s daughter Veena and DYFI (Democratic Youth Federation of India) national president Mohammad Riyas tied the knot in a low-key ceremony held today. The marriage function was held at Cliff House, official residence of the chief minister at Thiruvananthapuram. Riyas is one of the young faces of the CPM and a familiar face in the TV channel discussions. He was appointed as DYFI national president in 2017. He contested in Lok Sabha elections in 2009 from Kozhikode, but lost to UDF’s M.K Raghavan.
