TTD committed to Sanatana Dharma globally: Bhumana
Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) chairman Bhumana Karunakar Reddy on Tuesday reiterated that the devasthanam is dedicated to promoting Sanatana Hindu Dharma globally.
Addressing a gathering on Independence Day after hoisting the Tricolour at TTD parade grounds here, he said: “The holy shrine of Lord Maha Vishnu, Tirumala, stands as a beacon of spiritual significance. TTD, as a pioneer in disseminating Sanatana Hindu Dharma, remains committed to upholding these spiritual values and traditions.”
The TTD chairman underlined the importance of TTD employees executing their responsibilities with dedication, devotion and commitment while serving devotees. He revealed plans to allocate house sites for TTD employees who have been contributing their services to the devasthanam.
“TTD has secured 430 acres of land for allotting house sites to its employees. Distribution of these house sites will start soon,” he Karunakar underlined.
TTD presented Srivari silver dollars and certificates to 30 senior officials and 219 employees of the devasthanam in recognition of the services rendered by them. Similarly, bright children of TTD employees, including 26 intermediate students and 32 class 10 students, were given cash awards of ₹2,116 and ₹1,115 respectively.
TTD chairman, executive officer A.V. Dharma Reddy and JEOs Sada Bhargavi and V. Veerabrahmam distributed the awards. Separately, TTD EO Dharma Reddy unfurled the National Flag at Gokulam Rest House in Tirumala.
Speaking on the occasion, he asked devasthanam staff to ensure that devotees coming to Tirumala from around the world leave Tirumala with fond memories, including comfortable experience during Srivari Darshan and relishing the traditional Anna Prasadam.
