Kurnool: The All-Women Motorcycle Expedition, conducted by the CRPF, arrived here on Sunday. The district administration organised a warm welcome at the Zilla Parishad Hall. It was organised by the Department of Women and Children's Welfare.
This expedition is part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao campaign.
It covers a remarkable 10,000km over approximately 29 days, starting from Kashmir, and concluding in Gujarat. The journey focuses on themes related to girls' education, girls' rights protection and women's empowerment.
The expedition commenced on Oct 3 in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu, and is set to conclude on Oct 31 in Kevadia, Gujarat. CRPF officials expressed their satisfaction at the positive response it received from the people in various cities, towns during the Yatra.
