Bhimavaram: Teachers' constituency PDF MLC Shaik Sabjee died after his car rammed into another coming in the opposite direction on the Cherukuvada national highway in Undi mandal, West Godavari district on Friday.
The MLC's car driver, gunman and PA suffered serious injuires in the accident and have been shifted to hospital for treatment.
The MLC was on his way to Bhimavaram to take part in a protest being held by the Anganwadis. He was travelling from Eluru to Bhimavaram when another car travelling from Bhimavaram to Akiveedu rammed into into his vehicle and he died on the spot.
On information, police rushed to the spot and shifted the body to hospital.
There is buzz that the MLC died after he suffered serious injuries to his head and chest as he failed to put on the seat belt.
