Vijayawada: Guntur Depot-2 of APSRTC is operating two special hi-tech 2+2 pushback buses for Arunachala Giri Pradakshina Mahotsavam on the Full Moon Day.
Depot manager Sheik Abdul Salam said these buses will leave Guntur on December 24 at 9:15 p.m. and reach Srikalahasti, Kanipakam, in Chittoor district on December 25. Devotees can visit the Sri Puram Golden Temple.
The buses will leave Kanipakam on December 25 night and reach Arunachalam in Tamil Nadu on December 26 morning, where devotees can perform Giri Pradakshina of the Shiva temple.
APSRTC is offering online reservation of tickets for the two services numbered 96164 and 96089. Shiva devotees and travellers from Guntur can make good use of these special services.
