VIJAYAWADA: AP State Housing Corporation managing director G. Lakshmi Shah on Sunday underlined that quality testing labs started in 37 Jagananna housing layouts in 19 districts of AP are ensuring quality of the construction material in building houses within those colonies.
Lakshmi Shah said Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy had instructed them to start testing labs in Jagananna colonies for checking the quality of cement, steel and bricks used in constructing the houses. The aim of the CM is to ensure that each house constructed is of standard quality.
In this context, the housing corporation managing director pointed out that the districts where the labs have been started include Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Anakapalli, Kakinada, East Godavari, West Godavari, Eluru, NTR, Guntur, Palnadu, Prakasam, Nellore, Tirupati, Chittoor, Kadapa, Anantapur, Satya Sai and Kurnool.
