Hyderabad: Hyderabad hosted World Food India's Telangana Summit on Friday, a curtain-raiser for the New Delhi finale from November 3 to 5. The event saw the inauguration of the first-of-its-kind Millet Incubation Centre, supported under the PM Formalisation of Micro Food Processing Enterprises.
Principal secretary Jayesh Ranjan announced Telangana as the state partner for the New Delhi event and urged start-ups and small businesses to participate at the Pavilion. The last date for submissions is October 10.
The Union ministry of food processing industries would be organising the international conference in light of the International Year of Millets. The Millet Incubation Centre offers processing facilities, extrusion lines for vermicelli, pasta, and noodles, bakery lines, and a puffing line.
