HYDERABAD: A 17- year-old Intermediate student, who was involved in a road mishap in which two persons were injured, committed suicide by jumping from the third floor of his college building in Nizamabad on Monday.
The deceased, Saikumar was a native of Padkal village in Jakran mandal and was studying in a private college.
According to police, Saikumar took his friend's bike and was proceeding towards a cinema hall when he lost control of the bike and hit a passerby. In the mishap, two persons suffered minor injuries. By collecting contact details of his parents, the victims made a call to Saikumar's parents and informed about the mishap.
Scared about the reaction of his parents, Saikumar went to his college and took the extreme step. The college staff informed the police. The student was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed while undergoing treatment.
