Nizamabad locals thank KCR for sanctioning Rs 100 cr funds
HYDERABAD: Nizamabad urban MLA from the ruling party Bigala Ganesh Gupta on Wednesday took out a massive thanksgiving rally in Nizamabad town to express gratitude to Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao for releasing `100 crore to develop the town.
The rally saw a huge participation of TRS leaders, workers and locals carrying banners and flexies thanking the Chief Minister.
Ganesh Gupta said that Rao has sanctioned Rs 100 crore thrice since 2016.
"The funds were utilised to create infrastructure facilities and resolve
long pending civic issues like underground drainage system and central lighting."
Gupta stated that when Rao came to Nizamabad on September 5 to inaugurate the newly-constructed integrated collectorate complex, he was impressed with the development works that were undertaken and announced an additional `100 crore on the spot.
