Home Minister participates in Women's Sunday'
KAKINADA: AP home minister Taneti Vanitha on Sunday underlined that the role of women is crucial in building any society.
“Women can achieve anything once they get it into their mind,” she remarked while participating in a “Women’s Sunday” programme organised at a church in Rajamahendravaram on Sunday.
Vanitha pointed out that it is customary to celebrate the first Sunday after Easter as Women’s Sunday. All ministries and church work are carried out by women on the day.
“This is indeed a blessing for women,” she declared.
The home minister said she is holding such a big position in a state with the grace of God and the blessings of Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy. In this context, she said a woman also has the power to forget herself and devote her life to a cause.
Vanitha said she feels fortunate that God has given her the strength to excel in politics as well as in carrying out her responsibilities at home and as the representative of a constituency.
