AP farmer complains of CM's photo on pattadar passbook

Kurnool: A farmer named Peera Saheb from Chirumanadoddi village in Kurnool district raised concerns at the Aspari Tahsildar’s office on Wednesday regarding the presence of Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo on his pattadar passbook.

A video capturing his interaction with the officials has gone viral on social media. Peera Saheb questioned the officials about why his old pattadar passbook was replaced and CM Jagan Mohan Reddy’s photo was placed on the cover of the new book.

Expressing his frustration, the farmer emphasised that the land mentioned in the passbook belonged to him and asked if he could not understand why the CM’s photo was associated with it. He noticed discrepancies in the recorded land details. While he owns 6.62 acres of land in survey number 122 of the village, the new passbook documented only 6.61 acres, he questioned. Peera Saheb lodged a complaint with the deputy tehsildar, accusing the officials of unjust treatment.
