Bandi demands action against two engineering colleges
HYDERABAD: BJP state president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar asserted on Tuesday that Guru Nanak and Srinidhi colleges, which lack permission, have started admitting students to engineering courses while claiming that the Chandrashekar Rao-led BRS government has been complacent in failing to initiate action against these so-called universities conducting admissions despite not having private university (autonomous) status.
Speaking to reporters, Sanjay alleged that Srinidhi and Guru Nanak Engineering Colleges are defrauding 4,000 students by taking crores of rupees for admission into their institutes without receiving the status of a private university.
Kumar said that the BRS government silenced ABVP activists who spoke out about anomalies in engineering admissions at the two institutions while failing to prosecute the offenders in the TSPSC question paper leakage case. Sanjay claimed that IT minister K.T.Rama Rao, who is facing accusations of question paper leaks, is busy touring foreign countries while the lives of thousands of students are jeopardised.
In response to Huzurabad BJP MLA Etala Rajendar's visit to New Delhi, Sanjay stated that the party allows every leader the freedom to meet with its national leaders.
