Anil Kumar Yadav appointed as DCC Secunderabad chief
HYDERABAD: Anil Kumar Yadav was sworn in as Secunderabad DCC president at Gandhi Bhavan in the presence of TPCC chief A. Revanth Reddy here on Friday.
Speaking on the occasion, Revanth Reddy said that when the Congress flag was hoisted in Hyderabad, the party came to power in the state. He said slums were developed during the Congress regime.
He said that Anil Kumar would fight for the poor like former CLP leader P. Janardhan Reddy, who had dedicated his life for the slum-dwellers and down-trodden sections.
Reddy said that Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao was like Charles Sobhraj while minsters T. Harish Rao and K.T. Rama Rao were like Billa and Ranga. He called upon the party workers to spend time with the people of Telangana and work hard for the victory of the Congress.
