ADILABAD: A 50-year-old woman, Lodelli Lalitha, died after she was bitten by a snake while sleeping in her house in Chinthalamanepalli mandal headquarters in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district in the early hours of Sunday.
Her family members rushed her to the government hospital at Sirpur (T), where she was declared brought dead. The villagers said they were facing threat from snakes and other poisonous insects that were entering their houses following the rains in the area.
