Srisailam to host Ganapati Navaratra Mahotsavam from September 18 to 27
Kurnool: The Srisailam temple will host the Ganapati Navaratra Mahotsavam from September 18 to 27. During this auspicious event, special pujas will be performed to the Panchaloha idols of Ratnagarbha Ganapati and Sakshi Ganapati in the temple town.
The festivities will commence with the establishment of an earthen idol at the Sakshi Ganapati temple on September 18, followed by various special rituals. On the first day of the celebrations, there will be a series of events including Yagasala Pravesham, Ganapati Puja, Swasti Punyahavachanam, Sri Varasiddhi Vinayaka Vrata Puja, Akhanda Sthapana, Mandaparadhanam, Kalasa Puja, and more. In the evening, there will be special pujas, Kalasarchana, Ankurarpana, Agni Pratisthapana, Upanga Havanam, and other rituals.
From September 19 to 27, daily rituals such as Pratah Kala Archana, Mandaparadhana, Kalasarchana, Ganapati Homam, and more will be conducted.
Special puja for individuals with white ration cards
On September 18, a special puja will be provided to individuals with white ration cards at Chandravati Kalyana Mandapam. Only 250 devotees will be allowed each day, and they will receive two laddus along with other sacred prasadam.
