Vijayawada: Movie director and founder of Movie Artists Association Andhra Pradesh Dilip Raja said that production cost was low in Andhra Pradesh compared to other states and more outdoor locations were available here.
Hence MAA-AP is inviting producers and filmmakers of Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam, Bhojpuri and other languages to AP for shootings.
Addressing a press meet in the MAA-AP office at Tenali on Thursday, he said that outdoor locations would reduce the cost of film productions in Andhra Pradesh. He mentioned that many outdoor locations such as waterfalls, hills, forest areas and crops of beautiful Lankan villages will help to raise the level of the film.
Dilip Raja said that Andhra Pradesh was a boon to the producers of Bhojpuri who produce films with a very low budget. Military Prasad, joint secretary of MAA-AP, said that MAA-AP will help and assist the respective producers who show interest to perform shootings in AP.
