Kurnool: In a touching scene, a child outside the women's sub-jail in Kurnool on Friday kept calling for her mother, unaware that her mother had actually been imprisoned. Moved by the child’s desperate calls to her mother, local people persuaded jail authorities to allow the child to meet her mother.
The mother, from the old city of Kurnool, had been taken into custody by police for theft and shifted to the women’s sub-jail. Driven by the pain of being away from her mother, the child made her way to jail and started calling for her mother in an increasingly desperate manner.
Upon local people’s intervention, jail officials arranged for a brief meeting between the mother and daughter. The mother consoled her daughter and sent her back home after some time.
